Our identification of fetal anomalies is above the internationally recognized detection rates. We also collaborate with the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine in the care and evaluation of patients with high risk pregnancy. The division works closely with the Division of Genetics in the diagnosis of fetal genetic disorders as well as aneuploidy screening. The Center for Advanced Fetal Diagnostics is our dedicated service for the care and treatment of patients with fetal anomalies.
The division is a critical part of that service, providing the imaging expertise for patients referred for evaluation of fetal anomalies. The division evaluates the fetal anomaly and provides intraoperative guidance for all surgical procedures.
